Dragonball
Experienced this when have done some town driving and the car gets hot (not on the gauge - just generally lots of stop/start)) Clutch pedal stays depressed - couple of inches off floor. Still works OK...can lift it with toe when it sort of bounces back for a while until next used Any suggestions...? Is it knacked? If I do need a new clutch - all or part? and where and how much please (Twickenham based...?) Thanks for any help
Ekona
Slave and/or master cylinder I'd say. Roughly £90 each from your local Nissan dealer + few hours labour to fit (bleeding the clutch fluid is what takes the most time). Worth contacting Zmanalex about the parts too
Neilp
Could it also be air in the line? Mines sticks when giving it welly from still but It's bad to do that anyways so it doesn't happen too often. Zmanalex is the man with know and the parts
Greekman
slave cylinder. it fails suddenly all the clutch fluid will leak under the car and then it will be RAC or AA!!! as ekona said. easy to change but tricky to bleed the clutch properly. its even a DIY job if you know what you are going your clutch pedal will feel suddenly light with plenty of initial play and as soon as you stop the car i had to have it changed twice....actually this last one lasted too long Alex the man to contact.
