djrm
Hi people! I am after a decent HU to replace that useless Bose... I think I would prefer a single DIN and a cubby filler of some sort... The unit MUST have: - Line input - iPod control - Steering wheel adaptability - Operate all the speakers in the car without any re-wiring - Be a decent make! Any suggestions? Thanks, Ryan

Thanks, Ryan I know this is double-DIN but it does all you want and looks great. This piccie was taken before I fitted the correct surround so now it's flush all round. Dom187
Does that badboy work with the bluetooth adapter as well? One thing that has put me off upgrading is the fact that I want to use the cars in build hands free system. Also do these head units sound much better than the bose? djrm
Captain - that's nice, just didn't want to pay £200 really... Just had a £400 unit fitted by Nurrish... What do we think of this? http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... 12910.html I have always found JVC to be good?? Would that operate all of the bose speakers including the SUB?? Sounds good to me. Never had a BOSE. It'a an Alpine CDE W203Ri. chrisjones6699
I've got the Alpine W404 and I had the parrot blue tooth module fitted. Not bad and it connects with my iPhone, syncs contacts and lets me dial through the head unit.
un1eash
I dont think theres any aftermarket headunits that will work with Nissans built in hands free. If you had the budget by far the best sounding system using the existing bose speakers is an alpine with Imprint processor. It shows you what the bose stuff can really do as there not bad speakers. I went this route and would of kept it like this if i didnt have my amps and sub sitting around.
