chippy
Has anyone replaced theirs so that they match the headlights better - are these the right fitment? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-X-Car-9-LED-SMD-T10-501-W5W-168-Wedge-Bulb-Light-Lamp-/150482966388?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item23097bd774
Chris`I
I havent done it in the 370, but did in the 350. One thing I learnt was not to use cheap LEDs, they burn out too quickly.
mc
I used some just like that in my car. They were extremely bright! can't remember if they were from autobulbs direct or ultraleds, but either the heat of the xenons or the vibration (or both) caused the yellow LED discs to fall off fairly quickly. Not up to the job of being in a headlight!
schift
I recently bought these after people saying that the cheaper ones burn out/fail too quickly. http://autolumination.com/194.htm I've only had mine in for a few weeks, but the guy who recommended them has had them in for 8months+ without issue. Chris`I
I was looking to get some Philips Vision LED bulbs to go with my SilverVision indicators, they aint cheap though. I would hope they are good quality though.
ste01
Got mine from a company called Shiny Autos www.shinyautos.com, (501) White Xenon 6 super bright LEDS, had them fitted in my 197 clio for two years, running the sidelights as daytime running lights, then fitted them to the Z, they are not as bright on the Z due to a smaller reflective area, but way better than the standard bulbs
chippy
Thanks guys. Might go for the philips ones, not too bad at about £30 a pair. I guess that provided they are W5W they fit? Do I go for the 6000k or the 4000k?

Do I go for the 6000k or the 4000k? I think that the 6000k are illegal in europe not 100% but check before you buy
chippy
I fitted the Philips 4000K's in the end. Nice and white, but I dont find them that much brighter than the OEM's. Definately a better match for the headlights though.
Chris`I
Dont think sidelights need to be bright, main thing you want is a good colour match to the main lights. Good to know the Philips 4000ks are a good match Not sure if its the same in the 370z, but the angle of the 350z sidelights means that with single LED lights, most of it shines out the side and not forwards. To get it to light up bright, you needed multi LED bulbs that lit up all around the fitting not just facing out, but they looked rubbish when not lit. At least with the 370z I think they are hidden behind frosted sections.
The G Man
Was thinking of changeing mine as well, been lazy and not looked at the set up yet, is itan easy replacement or do you need fingers like knitting needles and have to remove half the engine? chippy
20 mins should be long enough. You just need to loosen off the clips to the front end of the wheel arch liners and then bend them out of the way. I swapped the indicators over to silvervision ones whilst I was in there. Chris wrote a guide that I followed _ http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=105&t=38251
