Tay
i think you've been paying too much in recent years. I was told it's post 2006 that costs 400 smackers. I've just bought a years tax at £435. painful
Steady Zeddy
Just to make ye feel better about ye're selves - I get to pay 1566Euro car tax for the Zed per year (+ another 1566Euro for my DD Murano) over here in Ireland for the privilege of driving on some of the worst roads in Europe. cgomez1978
I got told because it was only registered in the uk in 2007 i had to pay the higher tax band
nixy
Its not a mistake. Up to last April any car including imports registered in the uk after 2006 had to pay the higher amount. They changed this to year of manufacture last April so the imports that got caught up in this had the price dropped. Unfortunately you are not due a refund. This has been covered tonnes on here!
