slimjim
hahahaha, nice vid, nice club wrist band!!! hahaha Thought peeps would spot it Tidied up the amp now, so the cables underneath are covered and are all setup right. Just need someone who knows what they are doing to help me EQ the whole thing to make it sound good.
slimjim
Managed to squeeze a quick visit to the ICE house in on Saturday. They have setup the amp and unit a little better than it was but have said I need to move my tweeters. Kinda worked that out myself, as the tweets point innto the car and down. Where as they need to be pointing towards the screen/dash and forwards. Basically to exactly where the gauges are in the middle/top of the dash. I have a "dash kit" with the tweets which might do the job. Will try it that way first to see if it makes it sound loads better. But then I thin I maky have to get the fiberglass out and do some custom molding to make it look good too Happy they have said I am going in the right direction though! slimjim
Been offline for a while with working away from home and having Crimbo. But the GOOD news is, with the extra cash I have had from working on site.... I have bought a "shed" ..... Quite a bit of work to do to it. 2.5 T4 SWB What do you think? slimjim
nice , you going to re-do it 'A-team' style guess the black bonnet is a 'car-bra' ? "Gotta modify the van!!!" No, going to be keeping her Yellow, as she is insanley bright and different. Yup, tis' a car bra. They are used all the time on the Transporters. MIGHT take it off, even if it is just to see what it looks like. But if I do, I will be having the front end wrapped in that clear 3m stuff to protect the year old paint job. Cheers... wimper
I've got a soft spot for T4's. Spent ages modding mine from Van to Camper... You'll end up spending a load of time on it!!! It will be fun though, and they are a blast to drive around in (a little slow though!). Sorry to clog your thread with my pics, but thought it may give you some ideas! Let me know if you want me to take them down.. Have fun.... Ian

Let me know if you want me to take them down.. Have fun.... Ian HA HA ... no worries about clogging up the thread. Good to see a fellow camper. The van isn't as quick as the Zed, obviously BUT ... just had it remapped to 160bhp, and the torque is fantastic, so it pulls like a train! Went to DubFreeze in Stafford this weekend and it looks like we are going with T4Life for the interior. Plus I am now starting to think about the stereo system ... LOTS to do. wimper
I did mine from scratch, and it worked out loads cheaper than buying a kit, it just took a bit of thinking about! Mine was only a 1.9 non turbo... Slow was not the word!
slimjim
Kind of turning into a T4 thread here... We went to Cornwall last week... and had the ONLY sun in the country apparently.... LOVING the van... but there WAS one moment that I wished I was in the Zed.... Can you guess which moment that was from these pictures? Perranporth, couldn't work out which country we were in! Again, we heard that the rest of the country was underwater... Towan beach Tricky to "drift" the FWD three tonne van!
Wasso
Glad to see you're still alive and neglecting the Zed as usual by leaving it at home. Looks like you had really nice weather
