sss107
Hi guys, probably quite an easy q, but I have infinity ref 6522's up front (2 way). Ive got a sub too rated at 225w rms. How important is it matching power to the amp. Its an Infinity ref 7541-a amp but looks like it will underpower the sub. It'll be: 2 x 75w rms + 1 x 180w (for sub) Any ideas, I could look at getting a new amplifier but wasn't wanting to spend the £'s! Cheers Martyn

Over powering or under power doesnt kill speakers, dirty power does. If you turn the gain up to much on the amp you will get clipping and it will slow kill your sub.
