which oil

what oil are people using on here? im using 5-30 castrol magnatec but due for a change, its been using a bit so im thinking of a different one.

Fit an oil catch can if your zed is using oil. Not so sure a different oil will stop oil usage.

Magnatech is poo. Even some fuchs(lol) Titan 5-30 I'd better or Titan race(silkolene) is even better at s push. What engine do you have?

i have the de engine 300hp i ve heard mobil 0-40 is good for these engines so ive gone for that see how we go.

royal purple 5w30 was my tipple of choice, worked well and never had any oil burning issues

the de is 276 unless you have the 296 rev up. On the 296 Im sure with some cars there was a problem of them burning oil due to oval cylinders. What reg mate?

Magnatec is about as much use as pouring cat **** into your engine. 0w40 is a bit thin IMHO and you'll probably get the same issues, I'd go with one of the other recommended oils on this page.

it was 276 but been upped to 300 thx to rs tuning, i change my oil regular so see what mobil is like and go from there. looking at the searches on the 350 site in usa they say mobil 0-40w in the de engine is good . i ran mobil 0-40 in my audi and it was superb but will see.
