Jesters Tear
Chaps/chapesses Please would someone confirm whether the Bose system in a 2007 313 can play/recognise CD ROMs burned with MP3 files? I don't suppose I'm in luck but worth a try eh? Best and thanks in advance JT

stanski
Deffo No - think we have all tried! You would have thought by 2007 they would have upgraded it but then it still has a tape player so..... Just get a Ipod instead.

lrh
Only some late US cars got an updated unit that ditched the tape and added MP3 disc reading: We didn't so add an aux line-in instead: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=507429#p507429

Boycey
Erm, I bef to differ, I have a 313 GT and have burnt music from iTunes onto a cd which plays just fine in the Bose system

lrh
Is it at all possible to get these units from the US and put them in a UK car? I think all head units are linked to the immobiliser so it would need recoding at a dealer... Who might not be able to it anyway... Really not worth the risk/effort. If you burn music straight from iTunes I believe that makes it into an audio cd +
