Ruddles
As the title suggests, been meaning to post this now for roughly 3-4 weeks! Let me just start with 'the sound is incredible', burbles on idle and town jaunts, but release it about 3k rpm and simply.... WOW!! ..Typhoon fighter? Thanks to Alex to helping me out and providing all the info and parts I needed, just sorry it's taken so long to post! The reason? The cans needed a really good clean and although they're still not quite there yet I'm happy to post some pics up! Any helpful tips on trying to get the best finish possible would be greatly appreciated, have used Coarse, Med and Fine pan pads from Halfrauds with some Autoglym Metal Polish and it's done wonders so far! Still some swirls left though! Buddy Club Pro Spec III
ZMANALEX
Looking great Andy Told you that you would love the sound of the Buddy Club Pro Spec 111 Was it a trouble free install?
Ruddles
Haha! So right you were Alex, an excuse to give it some beans whenever I take her out for a drive now! 'Like a glove' is how I can describe the fitting! Easy as pie, although the OEM exhaust had to be blowtorched off at the brackets and we nearly put our backs out taking the backbox off....think It's roughly half the weight of the car!! I'll try and get some soundclips up soon, plenty of opportunities now!

jollyranchers
seriously tempted by this exhaust have you any more pics of this exhaust from further away ? Whats the sound like at idle and below 3k ? is it loud ? Would love to hear another idle vid and pulling away low revs Would also love to hear a bungs in / out comparison , cant find anything like this on net
spursmaddave
Yay another Buddy Club Great isn't it
Ruddles
Unbelievably so Dave!! I wouldn't have any other now haha! This more of what you're after Jolly? I will get some videos up as soon as I can find somone to hold the camera for me! Idling gives a raised Hum...you know it's there, be sure of that! Below 3k rpm depends how much pressure you put on the loud pedal! Be gentle and and it's 'fairly' quiet, push down and ...well yeah...you get the idea! spursmaddave
I have the bungs in mine Ruddles do you have a plenum spacer fitted? Also what about air intake, I had a pop charger but I took it off as I couldn't hear it
Ruddles
My bungs are still in too, which is just fine for me! I do yes, Motordyne 5/16 ISO thermal plenum spacer. With regards to intake, I will be going down the line of 06 airbox with cosworth panel filter....once I find an 06 airbox!

Not the easiest thing to find are they I actually think the exhausts look nicer with the bungs in too
Ruddles
They can be found absolutely nowhere! Think I'll have to mosey on down to a breakers yard... Don't want to get the cosworth filter until I've the airbox either. Yeah, much nicer with the bungs in, I even tried to clean just inside the tailpipe....no chance! haha
spursmaddave
From what I can see not an awful lot different between the 2, but apparently it does make a difference. Surely someone could make an attachment for the older type to upgrade it

Surely someone could make an attachment for the older type to upgrade it Perhaps there's a way around it then....maybe getting rid of all the cross hatching inside the box, wonder if anyone has made their own custom box? The trumpet can probably be found a number of places, providing it's the same size!
