Rubber
As per the title I am on holiday in Hong Kong for the next few days. Any advice on rooting out some bargin car parts in the area? I am aware of Mong Kok which sells all the audio equipment so may have a look there tomorrow. Space in my suitcase is limited so probably only looking at gear nob, some little carbon bits etc. Must say I'm kinda disappointed by the cars over here I expected lots of modded Jap cars but only seen a couple including a few nice Nismo 350Zs. There's an awful lot of Mercs and BMWs though Cheers, Chris
BulletMagnet
TBH, and this is coming from a Cantonese Englishman, really beware of knockoffs over in HK. But then again, it will be blatantly obvious that they are tho. Either the item is "overbranded" or the branding looks tacky (or both). You'd be better off going on a trip to Japan and visiting one of the "Up Garage" outlets, which specialise in refurbishing and selling of second hand performance parts and wheels
Gizmo-R
This is coming from an Cantonese BBC... Watch out for things like this You can easily be deceived by the attention to detail: Just make sure you haggles and nto pay the asking price as they probably have your trousers down by then..... Rubber
Yes Japan would obviously be a better place to be for car parts but convincing the missus that we should go there instead of Hong Kong for the honeymoon on the basis of rooting around in scrapyards and auto shops would have ben difficult Chris
BulletMagnet
Should have mentioned the cherryblossoms and shrines of Japan. Could have done the novelty trip to the penis temple and make a wish for fertility and such, enjoy genuine teahouses and experience the culture from where your Zed came from. Plus there are plenty places for her to go shopping, lol
Rubber
No need for fertility wishes at this time - now that the wedding has been paid for, the Zed needs much loving! Let the modding commence!!!!!!
