I have a blowing exhaust and am wondering what to do, maybe I should go with decat pipes. Just a couple of questions (did a search but didn`t get anywhere) If I fit decat pipes are they legal? ie, would it fail the MOT? Would it cause any warning lights to appear on the dash? I`m consideringa few exhausts (even the cheapo ebay one) The Scorpion, The Mongoose and the Mongoose with decat pipes. I would appreciate the views of those with experience of the Scorpion and Mongoose. Views on any others that I`m missing that aren`t gooing to break the bank are also appreciated. yokomo Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 go race cats , will pass mot least they should just , if you get the berks like i have they come with anti foulers so wont throw a cel. you will gain a little power but not alot , sounds a bit louder more tuned .
