bigmike20vt
i wondered if this should go in technical, but am not sure if the technical specs on a console racer count so after doing a good few miles on forza 3 with "my" Zed i thought i would give the 370 a go. Now i know the 370 is a slightly quicker car than the 350 BUT actually in the game it is noticeably quite a lot faster (so much so its in a different racing class) and it is a lot more fun to drive i thought the real world difference was subtle. Now forza is not really a sim in the pc sim sense of the word, but i believe its stats are generally well regarded, so out of curiosity, does the 370Z nail the 350 in terms of performance (and to a lesser extent handling) or is it just computer game licence? i have seen the specs on paper, but to be honest i can not really equate that to how it would "feel" driving one. (i hope to change this if i can barter a 370Z coutesy car when i come to service time - i will explain i am considering buying one but need to drive it properly 1st ) for the record the 350Z on forza is the middle of the road engine spec. If anything that would make the difference of the real thing even bigger than my car as mine is only the 276bp model.
Ekona
Pretty sure the 350Z in Forza is the 276 model. I had to give it a bit more power in-game to emulate my own car
geoff-r
If the one in the game is the 276bhp model you have to remember the 370Z has 330bhp and it's lighter.
bigmike20vt
so the 370Z really is significantly quicker than the 350 then? i am even more looking forward to it getting to my price bracket
Ekona
You would hope so with a more modern chassis, better tyres and more power.
neo-ninja
that is indeed interesting. The few video reviews i have seen give the 370 a very good write up basically saying it is the 350z evolved - although most do mention that on paper its not much better...but in reality it feels and is a whole lot better.
