chrisjones6699
Found these on ebay and they have just turned up! I'm rather happy with them considering they cost £150 for the two of them! plus £39.99 postage The guy was genuine and stated that they had "slight" curb damage and this is the only damage on the two. Just one question though. This is a picture of the spare next to the Dunlop, I took out the spare because i didnt see any point it being in there whilst having 20"'s on my Zed. Next to each other, the spare looks like it would still do the job. Am i being thick here or would it still do its job?
UNABASHED
I rekon it would be fine for a very short journey home
Ekona
Removing the spare will cause the a weight shift to the front of the car, meaning oversteer is more likely so you might want to put some weight in there to compensate, or perhaps alter your tyre pressures. A spare is a spare is a spare, it's got the same rolling radius as your 20" tyres (or should do anyway) and will allow you to drive at 50mph to get you home in case of a puncture. Why would you want to remove it? Bear in mind in that case you'd put the spare on the front and put a front wheel on the back.
M13KYF
its the same rolling radius or as near as damm it so its fine, its only the profile has changed which allows the bigger rim
chrisjones6699
Why would you want to remove it? It would free up some space in the boot to put other things in....like sound accessories and i was going to get a puncher kit in a can to replace the spare but i shall be putting the tire back in now

Ekona
Those foam puncture things are useless. You can only drive at 30mph and they cause a complete mess of the tyre and wheel: There's a good reason why tyre fitters hate them Don't ditch the spare, kids! Husky
i took mine out and replaced it with a first aid kit, warning triangle, jumper leads, fire extingusher etc etc etc all the goodies i find it quite funny now though that i will have all of this but wont be able to get home with a flat i might find some time this weekend to shoe horn all of it in with the spare included. somethign worth noting is that the spare holds your boot floor up, withough it it all caves in when you put a back of heavy stuff in it. like a punch bag,
