Code 0340

Just got back after 3 weeks away and as is normal with my 350 the battery was completely dead, and this battery is brand new. Managed to jump it but left me with the engine light on and a code P0340 CMP (Cam Shaft Position) Sensor (Phase). Anybody have any clues to shed some light on this, means nothing to me.

PO340 relates to Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction.

 

Probably just a glitch due to the battery issue.

 

Charge up your battery and carry out an ECU reset and hopefully all will be good.

you could have a faulty battery, or a drain somewhere. Check to see if the boot light is off perhaps
