James B
Just triumphantly won a bid on a double din HU on EBay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... SA:GB:1123 Unfortunately looking over the spec I've relaised I've made a complete **** up. The unit only has 1 preout and (as I understand it) the Bose internals require 2 preouts, so.................. Is there any way for me to split the signal or am I stuck with a unit that doesnt do the job I need? Help appeciated with this one.
ian.lewkowicz
2 of these should do the trick for you. Just plug one into the left pre-out and one into the right preout and it'll give you 2 left and 2 right pre-out's
Bundus
Im guessing Ian was referring to splitters which would do the trick if you need 2 pre-outs. Im slightly confused though. If you are just running the standard bose set up then what do you need pre-outs for? Pre outs are for aftermarket amps. If your just running the BOSE then you need the PAC ROEM NIS2 unit. This goes in between your head unit and the car and allows you to keep all the BOSE amp, speakers, sub etc.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAC-ROEM ... ioQ5fVideo
Gizmo-R
With one set of pre outs you can have 2 splitters, one for left and one for right so all you will lose out is the ability to fade Front and Rear I would suggest getting a line driver up up the pre-amp voltage
