kcw1556 Posted July 25, 2010 Share Posted July 25, 2010 hi guys, not been on the sit for a while been busy at work. just wondered if any of you have had a similar problem with your 350z's IE: engine pinking under acceleration. been using shell optimax and BP ultimat at every fill up, but the problem still exists, any ideas guy's thanx. When driving along then suddenly boot it/give it some gas, its pinking, however it don't do it from cold or whilst its on choke, as soon as it warms up the problem starts, really annoying. Tried BP ultimate, Shell Optimax still no good. I think we are being stiffed at the fuel pumps? Seems we are paying for premium fuel and getting @*!#.
