mattbowey
just going through all the paperwork for my car again and noticed something strange. there is a receipt from the previous owner's purchase of the vehicle, dated 07/11/2009, mileage 22,500 then there is my receipt of purchase dated 31/03/2010, mileage 38,884 the garage said they had the car for a month before i bought it. now with the winter we had, the four months the previous owner had the car to my recollection were pretty snow and ice covered months. so where has all this mileage come from. if i have worked it out right, over 5 months thats 110 miles per day. in snowy and icy conditions. any ideas cos i am pretty stumped by this
mattbowey
ok, just been on the phone to the company who imported the car and they said the first 36000 is km, then miles after that. so that makes more sense. should i delete this thread seen as i have figured out the problem all by myself? tez162003
someone obviously had alot of miles to drive, so they drove it alot of miles... Who's to say they didnt go on a road trip around europe in it and racked up tons of miles in nice hot sunny spainish weather If you own a car, you can take it out the area you bought it from. its not against the law. helimeddaz
I had a near death experience in mine in the snow. Never again. My Z turned into a rocket powered ditch finder. If snow is on the ground the Z is in the garage.
