yokomo
are the spline drives ally or steel ? (no torque wrench so i just yank em up tight with a big breaker bar) so are they ok for taking some abuse , also will the normal steel ones fit gtrs OK as my current ones form the nissan wheel fit but theres barely room for the socket so were a pain to fit . ChrisUUC
Hmmm Have you any closed end ones with a locking nut feature? Polished? Thanks, Chris
Daryl
Are the steel ones better than the Ally ones?
ben@RARE RIMS
Lockers are all open I am afraid Steel ones in my opinion are superior to aluminium as they remove the disadvantages of Aluminium nuts, like then shearing and getting stuck, or corroding in place and getting stuck. Daryl
Would a smear of copper grease not solve the sticking problem? As for shearing,i see what you mean, just have to be abit gentle i suppose.
ChrisUUC
Ok ill take a set of the polished closed end ones ... Whats the best way to pay dude?
ben@RARE RIMS
Paypal is easiest, wheels@rarerims.co.uk and put in the notes what you'd like Copper grease and being gentle is a good theory. Doesn't take much for perhaps somebody working on your car not to follow these steps, or somebody to buy them who doesn't own a torque wrench, and you're in a world of pain very quickly
