ir_fuel
I was checking out the NISMO wheels, and all sites showing them say they are only compatible with non-VDC equipped cars? Now what is VDC? Are there any wheels that ARE compatible? Why arent they compatible?
Baptist
If you have a UK car, you will definitley have VDC, its all the computer gubbins that controls your traction control etc. Fitting the Nismo wheels wont affect this at all, just make sure you get the right size tyres to maintain stagger, or that will throw the VDC on your car. ir_fuel
So why do they put this information next to the wheel? If i were to take wheels with exactly the same size as the original ones what could be the problem then?
Baptist
Im assuming its do with warranty in America, as Nismo stuff does come with a limited warranty (on the Stune stuff). It means nothing mate, you can safely put the wheels on your car.

Probably to do with everything in US has to have a warning - blame culture mate, Bap knows his stuff so I wouldn't worry
ir_fuel
Ok, and what do these wheels normally cost, if you take the same size as the standard wheels on the car, in 18" ?
Baptist
You'll have to find that out for yourself mate. Try www.mynismo.com for a good idea.

lomoto
What's the difference between VDC and TCS? That's what my JDM has. TCS is a simple traction control , whereas VDC is a more complex system fitted to The UK cars...both do a very similar job
