Gibby
Read a few threads on this.... so im thinking its got air in the lines? The car seems to be pulling away normally but the clutch pedal is sticking halfway up. Just want to make sure this is right before i get it sorted. The cars done 80k now and im sure its never been replaced need to check all the old receipts Thanks in advance!
Gibby
Checked all the paperwork twice! Clutch has never been changed! Cars fine now got it looked at! Just need to keep tabs on it! Will get prepared for new clutch etc...
martinmac
80k on one clutch is pretty impressive IMO.
MCI
Gibby, Exactly the same problem as my car (see my post 4 below this one), I have changed the fluid and re-bled the system but it hasn't fixed the problem. I am going to bite the bullet and replace the slave cylinder. Dont worry about it being the clutch they don't tend to fail in this sort of way. BTW my last car had 200bhp and was still on the original clutch at 140K. Mark
Ekona
Get the master cylinder done at the same time, the part itself is peanuts compared with the labour involved in bleeding the fluid.
