mrCD
Can anyone please tell me what units are shown in you on dash display (JDM)? I mean are they in Celcius/Farenheit, Miles/Kilometeres, etc.
M13KYF
assume your talking about the small pods (set of three)
mrCD
Yes, of course, thanks.
M13KYF
speed will be in KMH, temp is in Celsius. Easiest way to get MPH is to get a UK item I think

mrCD
Easiest way to get MPH is to get a UK item I think Easiest ain't the best, so it won't work for me. I want to figure out how to change them. R35LEE or Zmanalex may be able to help you out with replacements. Thanks for the info. my jdm centre pods read mph and mpg, however they have the units Km/l and Km after them. They are the original units in the vehicle?? I gues your right. The readouts are correct, but the units are wrong. eg Says 20mpg ( ), but shows 20l/100km and Avarage 22mph, but says 22km/h Correct? mattbowey
hmmm, the display had km/l and reads in km/l, unless i am only gettin 7 mpg the speedo on there says km/h but tell me mph, matches the main speedo and the satnav is on a diff pod to in that pic though thanks for the help with translation, guess my brain wasnt working properly earlier
Husky
So when you run the car... what does the digital speedo say? and how does this compare to a sat nav?
mattbowey
when i run the car it says, for example, 88km/h on the digital display. this speed matches the sat nav which is definately in mph
ZMANALEX
I don't think that the read outs can be changed over, but hey, every day is a school day huh! However I have new genuine UK Triple Pods for sale if required Alex.
Husky
i wonder if changing the white box over but not the trip guages may do it?

UNABASHED
still not 100% sure what your on about. my JDM has original JDM gauges but shows my speed in mph, only it has KM next to the speed figure, if that's what your getting at
mrCD
my JDM has original JDM gauges but shows my speed in mph, only it has KM next to the speed figure, if that's what your getting at My guess is that you have the A/C AMP swaped. Have you done it, or maybe the previous owner?
UNABASHED
was done like this prior to my ownership, I assumed all imports had this done?
mrCD
Don't think so... If it was like this at the start your units would be in mph. ...or maybe there is a shorter way to change the red outs?
