A7 TAK 350z Supernatural Special...

Sorry about the ammount of photos, the rain was a constant threat and i just needed to get on with it tbh,

 

First pic i got is me starting on the wheels:

Used autobrite wheel gel and a horsehairs brush:

once aggitated:

Then i rinsed the wheels, and cleaned the barrels using a long reach brush, and also cleaned the tyres and the brake calipers and inner arches, (no pics sorry)

 

The car was then given a quick coating of citrus degreaser and then snowfoamed:

(snow foam was coming off by time i took pic)

 

Then i went round with the Apc cleaning all the badges and door shuts etc etc

then i gave the car another layer of snow foam and cleaned the car using two bucket method, dodo wash mitt and dodo BTBM (no pics cus of rain)

 

then onto claying:

Car was clayed using dodo supernatural clay in places and megs clay in others

 

car wasn't too bad

Then i started on the engine bay

Cleaned with citrus degreaser APC then dressed with lime prime lite

Car was then dried

i did the exhausts using #00 grade wire wool and megs metal polish

Then Hugh asked me to have a look at his headlights, which had a few scratches in them and was turning cloudy

Used a spot polishing pad and 3M extra fine polish to sort those out:

Dunno how well you can see the difference in those pics..

 

Anyway due to the big rain clouds that seemed to be circling above, i decided to put the camera down and just get on with it,

The car paint was cleansed and enhanced with Dodo lime prime on a 3M finishing pad, to good effect,

then was given two layers of dodo juice supernatural, the wheels where sealed with poor boys wheel sealant, tyres and trim dressed with megs endurance gel,

then the whole car given a wipe down with zaino Z8.

Cheers for the comments guys, i'm glad to have finally got a car done to show you guys what i'm about,

 

The headlights can be caused by a few things, just general daily wear, stonechips, and UV sunlight, they can be treated using polish in the same way that paint can be,

 

In certain cases when the headlight is really bad you can use some wet and dry sand paper to great effects, and then refine with polish, but it is alot of work and elbow grease to do that, and ultimatly alot of $$. But can be done!

Which polish did you use for the headlights with which pad? was it a 4" pad?
