nixy
Got back from a long drive up the A1 and when i pulled in the drive my cats did something really odd when i got out of the car.......they've never done this before! I thought it might be the heat but they were actually sniffing and licking at the grille! Maybe squashed fly juice is tasty! It was so hot outside anyway i can't imagine they would seek out even more heat. Odd to say the least! (face book buddies will have already seen this)

nixy
The black one (Poppy) in particular is like a little dog and comes straight out when she hears the car and waits for me but they've never done anything as weird as that before! Maybe i should go out and lick it to see what all the fuss is about!

bronzee
Wonder if there's maybe some salt residue been sprayed up. Lol, yes I know winter is far and gone up there, but might still be residue on the roads. Little weirdo's they are.

stesrg
Hi Mate ... just check and make sure your car has coolant and not antifreeze !! if the car got hot and spatt some out on the front ... I will say this because I seen my sisters cat licking tarmac on investigation saw a small puddle of antifreeze (yes I stuck my finger in it and tasted it ) anyway cat was bad next day ....vet says if it would have had a lot it would have killed the cat ....so just make sure . Ste .
nixy
mm - they're still alive! But there was no puddle and they were definitely sniffing and licking at the actual front grille!
