Got a soft spot for marins, this is taking my fancy to it's a attack trail 6.9 with rock shox pikes on the front and a fox float RP23 on the rear, decent spec but has got LX trigger shifters (prefer sram) and a XT rear mech colou might not be to everyones taste but I like it

Dont have time to find myself goodies on ebay, let alone anyone else :p

I'll have a quick peruse around over the weekend and see if I can find something. I'd say the Attack is quite weighty, I think over 30lbs, which probably isnt too bad for a 150mm travel bike, but depending on what you ride, you need to ask whether you need 150mm of travel. I have 120mm on the Stumpy and its more than enough, the advantage is it weighs in at a little under 27lbs which is nice and light for pedalling all over the place

Been looking at a specialised XC pro FSR is that the one below yours Chris?

Yeah thats one down on the Stumpy, but there is some overlap in price terms. Base Stumpy is about the same price as the XC pro, but has a better frame. XC pro has slightly better spec components if they are both of the same year. What year are you looking at though?

Blimey, I don't look on this thread for a couple of days and there's a full page to get through! Nice pair of bikes there James, I rented a Fuel at Coed-y-Brenin last year and it was very nice.

For your budget second hand, it should be quite hard to go wrong with the big names. What size frame are you looking for?

Pinkbike is good for second hand bikes: http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/?region=5&countryid=193

You certainly have plenty of cool places to play Andrew. :drive1:thumbs: Last pic looks very moody. B)

Yes and I hate him :p

Looks lovely bud. Amanda says she is looking forward to the early start when we come visit

We did a little 17 mile loop around the downs of Hants today, cracking weather as you got too. Started my biker tan for the year!

I'm fairly happy with my HT, FSR and CX bike atm  Looking at possibly getting Amanda a road bike too.

I would say you could do with a full sus bike by now Andrew, but following you last time down those routes in the Lakes, I think you are quick enough on a HT :p

Started my biker tan for the year!

Lol, stunning. The lines between the shorts and the socks, sleeves and gloves, and best of all, the tanned finger tips and white hands.:lol::lol::p

I tend to wear full lengh gloves, so its limited only from my wrists to t-shirt line! Does look great though
