Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Just wondering if im the only one gets this Everytime I wash the car I get dribble from the sides of my N1 Nismo Spoiler base going down my bumper and then pooling under my lights... Ive had my rear bumper re-sprayed recently as the paintwork started to deteriorate because of the sitting water that gathers. I don't want this to happen again but no matter what I do I cant seem to stop the dribble. When I wash the car I open the boot up and give it a right good dry but the dribble comes back ... Ive noticed the spoiler sits on a spongey type base which I think is soaking up the water ?? Anyone suffer with this or is it just me ???? 350 Russ
I do aswell, usually after I've washed and dried I open the boot for a few minutes then dry that up and usually seems to work a treat
Neilp
are you talking about dribble coming from the edges that meet the boot or the actual base? simple solution open the boot a few time and shut and then dry the car and polish

kevlo
not sure how to solve the dribble but what about prevention. if you give the area where the water is sitting a couple of coats of a good wax (i recommend collinite) then the water wont be sitting on the paint. it should hopefully run straight off if not then it will bead ontop of the wax away from your paint! SwanageDave
Mines factory fitted and i still get it, it really pisses me off as i have tried all sorts of tricks to stop it even having the missus stand there with a sponge
Harman350z
The only way i see to stop it would be to fill the joint.. though its not something id like to do.
