How loud will it be?

Hi all , i have a motordyne xyz pipe on my zed and would really like a little more noise. I was wandering how loud it would be if i deleted the mid silencer but kept the rear one standard? Any thought would be good

Get yourself some Motordyne ART pipes to go with it

Would do but that means buying the cat as well and all that adds up to around £700 and i can get the mid silencer taken out for £90 !

the biggest restriction for noise is your mahooosive stock rear silencer. Removing the middle silencer will help but not a great deal as that big silencer will still shut it up fairly well.

 

Plus £90 to cut out and weld a pipe of mild steel pipe in is actually in my book a tad expensive, i can get the same thing done with stainless for £60

Only one way to find out as not many (if any) will have done it!! Just do it!

 

Deffo not K1 due to the way its made, perhaps K2 but then your talking different materials, so it will be hard to tell!

Stock exhaust system isn't restrictive , will run 400bhp easily. If you have the stock cats fitted removing the centre exhaust box will make little difference I feel.

Hi mark could you give a price for a set of hi flow cats, or decats and the cat that fits on my xyz pipe, thanks. Not sure i will go for it just yet but would like to know how much it will cost
