JetSet Posted July 26, 2010 Share Posted July 26, 2010 I've owned some interesting cars over the years. I had a renault engined Lotus Europa in 1972 and a Triumph GT6 in 1975. I've also owned an X1/9 rot box, 2 XR3i's, 2 Capri 2.8's, a Toyota Celica T Sport and a chipped Escort RS Turbo which I kept for 11 years. I've also owned some mediocre machinery too, like a Daewoo Lanos and 3 Datsun Cherrys, not to mention the 1100 Renault Clio I have now. . The GT6 was really unusual in that it was a full spec US model that had been converted to RHD due to the GT6 failing US safety standards for side impacts. To add to that, My wife had an imported MR2 Turbo with a full body kit,a real head turner and after that a 180HP TT and one of the last MG ZR's. N REG 1.6 Escort Si Mark 6 (was 2.0 with Jenvey Throttle Bodies at the end, still got the shell) R REG1.2 Corsa (all 40bhp of it, even less now! Still running it into the ground) M REG 2.0 Subaru Impreza, (Bought it cheap, fixed it up on a budget.
