relentless
hey all, Shortly im having the bonnet and wings resprayed on my gun metal JDM. The bodyshop will be removing the wing mirrors and door trim to blow back into the doors. The front bumper is fine with no noticeable stone chips, but one thing i was concerned about is the risk of poor colour match and the bumper standing out a mile after the repray. What do people thing on getting the bumper done also - likely to cost another £150- £200, do you think its unnecessary? Cheers! Mark
alessandro
I would do it all while you there, maybe minor but you'll almost always get a difference in colour
showtime1
is it a metallic as they have to be blown in to adjacent panels
un1eash
Bumpers on alot of Jap cars are normally a slightly different colour i find as there plastic and the other panels are metal. Getting them resprayed should give you a better match then when it left the factory. Just take a look at the front end of a new MX-5, the match is terrible on GM.
