Demolition49
Every Z i saw before i got my Z i noticed the drivers door handle was prone to chips and scratches, and although my handle only has a few at the moment, i dont want them to develop, infact id like to restore it if possible. Any ideas apart from a whole new door card. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4507212/IMG_0364.JPG http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4507212/IMG_0366.JPG

goose301
common problem. What I did was remove the handle - if you take a good look it will be easy to remove Scrape off all of the existing finish - there appears to be two layers you have to get them both off Sand with very fine sand paper until smooth spray with and interior trim spray paint. - several time with light sanding in between Spray with clear coat Too about two hours and cost $12.
