mattygcup
Sorry if this is a repost but i cant find the problem searching. Last night was listening to CD 6, automatically went back to one when finished (which played music). Selected disk 4 and 2 mins later i noticed no music was playing, it was then asking me to eject the cd. When a cd is inserted it just clicks and doesnt play. What do i need to do to sort it? Cheers

BulletMagnet
Firmly grab ahold of the gearshifter surround and lift up. Place aside and don't forget to disconnect the A/C control ribbon cable. Then using a phillips screwdriver, remove the screws holding down the centre console. Next, open the cubby and lift the rubber mat from the front to reveal the two small screws holding down a little coverplate. Once removed, you will see the two screws that hold the upper part of the centre console in place. With them gone, you can then gently pull the centre console from behind the triple gauges away from the dash. Be aware that there is a cable that connects to the triple gauges which needs to be disconnected. You should now have the centre console off the dash. Here should be four screws either side of the HU which keep it attached to the console. Unscrew these and you should have the HU in your hands. Finally after having removed the HU, open your bin and place HU within. Then follow this thread on how to install an aftermarket HU viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16403

Pimm
Took out and fixed it myself, problem sorted. Cant believe its Clarion! Load of rubbish. Do the MP3 player mod and it will transform your system 100%. I love the bose and it seriously pumps the sound out. I would of changed it if it was not for that mod i done
