Mitch
Hi , when I bought my car i was told it had brand new 30 profile tyres all round , I haven't noticed until today that the rears are 30 profile n the fronts are 35 profile !! I know I'm blonde but that doesn't seem right to me ! Any advise please
ATTAK Z
all depends on the wheel size and tyre specs Mitch ... post up all the figures if you know them and we can check it out .. it's all about rolling radius or perimeter of your tyres ... get it wrong and the lsd will malfunction btw ...... advice is spelt with a c and I'm happy to advise you of that point
Mitch
Hi Attack , the fronts are 245/35/20zr n the rear 275/30/20 N3000 All NEXEN tyres ! If that helps , mitch
rich5259
Hi Attack , the fronts are 245/35/20zr n the rear 275/30/20 N3000 All NEXEN tyres ! If that helps , mitch You can get away with 245/35r20 on the front (MadMarky has those) but most of us with 20s run 245/30r20 My rears are 285/30r20 - yours are only a little smaller No exerience on Nexus, I'm running Falken 452's
ATTAK Z
Yep fronts are wrong should be 245/30/20 I'm surprised you haven't had lsd probs ideally you should have FRONT 245/30/20 on 20" x 8.0" to 9.5" rims giving - 0.71% difference to standard 225/45/18 REAR 275/30/20 on 20" x 9.0" to 10.5" rims giving - 0.69% difference to standard 245/45/18 OR FRONT 255/30/20 on 20 x 8.5" to 10" rims giving + 0.20% difference to standard 225/45/18 REAR 285/30/20 on 20 x 9.5" to 11" rims giving + 0.19% difference to standard 245/45/18 do you know what size your rims are ? GT4 Zed
Hi Attack , the fronts are 245/35/20zr n the rear 275/30/20 N3000 All NEXEN tyres ! If that helps , mitch +1 Secondly, those Nexens are sh--t It may be ok ish when dry if you are driving easy but spirited or in the wet is diabolical with sudden loss of grip and excess roll from the side wall which is like butter! Get yourself decent rubber and if you want good perforkmance for good money the Falkens 452, Vredstein sessanta or toyo T1Rs are money well spent otherwise spend big bucks on ultra high perfomance stuff. You get what you pay for.
Mitch
Hi , I don't know the depth of the rims I will measure them tomorrow as my zed is now in darkness n my batteries are dead in my one n only torch I do have a lot of trouble with the slip flashing , it's doin my Ed in as even on a slight bend it cuts my power

GT4 Zed
You can get away with 245/35r20 on the front (MadMarky has those) but most of us with 20s run 245/30r20 You should not be trying to get away with 245/35/20 in front its just too big 275/30/20 at the rear is Ok and we don't know how wide his wheels are to carry 285s but i would think most 20s are 20x10J so he should be able to go bigger. Yep fronts are wrong should be 245/30/20 I'm surprised you haven't had lsd probs I think the sensor is off the diff and OS ARB arms which explains why madmarky may be Ok in normal conditions but i suspect it will be a different matter if he pushes hard esp if poor grip conditions and there might be to late a warning Hi , I don't know the depth of the rims I will measure them tomorrow as my zed is now in darkness n my batteries are dead in my one n only torch I do have a lot of trouble with the slip flashing , it's doin my Ed in as even on a slight bend it cuts my power you don't need to measure the wheel width to get the info. take out a front and rear wheel and on the inside face will be stamped the ET and hopefully diameter and width( 20 X xJ)
