Space Cadet
Strange question I know, but I had just done the 2nd coat on the front door and then a gust of wind from nowhere covered the front with dust/sand, does anyone know if once hard the paint can be polished with a cutting polish to get the bits out. Thanks.
M13KYF
never thought of that but wouldn't expect it to work. Different type of paint. I suppose if you try it you've lost nothing.

H5
lol - I'm not alone!! This happened to me on my last house. Unfortunately sanding it down and trying to bring it back up didn't work. Had to repaint. Looked good in the end though!!
Space Cadet
Yes, it was bugging me enough to lightly sand it down and paint a 3rd coat last night – luckily there was not even a hint of wind and it looks great. I actually think it looks better for its 3rd coat.
