Wanted - stock front bumper for swap

I'm picking up my 350z at some point in the next week or so. Its got a modified front bumper that I'm really not keen on. Its silver and has the front badge removed / smoothed and the side vents smoothed over. Apparently just had a respray. I'd like to swap it with a standard item. Clearly I'd like a decent condition item in return with good paintwork.

 

Located in berkshire.

 

I'm assuming they come off quite easily so would propose that we would just meet at one of our houses and swap them over.

 

I'll post some pics when I pick up the car.

I'm not a fan either but I don't like cosmetically modified cars much anyway unless its for a genuine performance reason. Some people do like this sort of thing though and if you do it makes sense not to pay for it and do a swap. Its not that dissimilar to some aftermarket bodykits I've seen.

well for a fan of a non modded car you've also gained an 07 bonnet and a V2 or N2 spoiler of the nismo variety

 

my guess is your engine bay may not be standard either, but you'll need to check that as well once you get it.

Yes I had noticed the 'mach3' on the back ! Its actually not that bad in real life but will probably also be coming off once the front bumper is sorted.

 

The only mod I like is the 07 bonnet, I prefer it to the earlier one. Engine is stock I think, it certainly felt quite pedestrian compared to the M3, I think the only mods are an exhaust.

 

I've no issues with mods just think 90% of cosmetic ones don't work.

I've got a spare front bumper in silver if you want it, I'll let it go for £40, it's off of a JDM though so no washer holes, I don't really want your front bumper so you could possibly sell that on eBay? I'm only in herts aswell so pretty local

Thanks I'll bear it in mind, would prefer to get one with the washers as I'll have to do something with the tubes then but could be an option.

the one i have an mentioned earlier has all the correct holes as its off a UK GT version and its in blade silver

it needs a little work in the underside passenger corner, its almost out of sight so a smart repair would do it which would probably set you back about 50 pounds.

 

how about the cost of posting it via courier and some beer money

i have no use for it, and it will only take up space in my garage. saves me time having to find a buyer and frees up my garage loft space.

Do you have any pics of it, just so its clear what condition its in ? I might be able to sort a pick up for it I'll investigate my options. You're right couriers are useless.
