Well done I have got up to two pence on each side and its still not opening. I am going to try the rubber washer trick because the pennies have started to mark the boot, only problem is, it ups the price from 6pence to a couple of quid. Ebized
This a TSB for the same issue on the 370 - not sure, but maybe the spring upgrade is the same for both the 350 and 370 and given the pic on page 2 ? cmck13
Thats a £69.96 profit then almost enough for an evenings drive Rubber washers worked, 2 small tap washers in each (1/2" wide) cost £1.09p from focus DIY but no damage like you can get from pennies, wear and tear etc. Saving £68.91, success. JMRolfe
Does anyone know of a cheeper place to source these (or have the old ones spare?)? My 350z is spoiler free but is missing one of its 'spring-lifts' hence am having the same problem... Thanks James

LordGrover
I tried three pennies each side and they worked a treat. Then read on and was concerned about the coins breaking the plastic so replaced them with some o-rings that were lying about. Sorted. HEADPHONES
I'd already done this with 1 rubber washer per side. Been about 5 years or so and boot wasn't popping as it should. Put an extra washer in per side Now by boot pops better than Vin Diesel
