rich5259
RS Cosworth - Escort/Sierra were 4wd but there was also a 2wd variant of the Sierra (Sapphire) with the Cosworth engine. So not all Ford Cosworths were 4wd. The early 3door Cosworth Sierra's were RWD and the 4x4s were Sapphires

Stew
4WD and I'd have one. And at the badge comments. Really driving a Datsun there is no place to slag off Fords.... If you think otherwise then please debate!
chrisjones6699
Lovely car.....but a little too chav looking for my liking! I keep expecting to see a twelve year old, wearing a burberry hat behind the wheel!
sparky370z
i absolutely love this car! it is immense! two of my mates stepped up from a ST to these. one blue and one green. both had them detailed at the same place and the green one was stunning. they sound and accelerate like a bull on steroids but TBH its not a car i could live with as an everyday thing. the reason for the NOT 4wd is that it would massively push the price up and then it would be almost 40k, and lets face it who wants to buy a ford focus for 40k. i would have an audi. my mate works closely with the development of ford cars and that was apparently the reason. however i would have defo considered one if i could afford it at the time of buying the Zed. Green FTW
Zednick666
I had a lime green one follow me the other day, I bet they're imensely fun but you'd want full window tints; I wouldn't want to be seen in it! It looks like it takes 4x AA Batteries and is controlled with one of these:
Danny 350Z
i'd rather lose my right testicle to an unfortunate and painful pencil/pocket penetration accident. You're a bloody spoon, John

MrMartinGrant
Ok I’m going to step in here lol I owned a modified Focus ST near 300Bhp A Friend of mine owns a New Focus RS, she has it modified and soon will be 370Bhp or more, I now own a 350Z, so I’d like to think I know what I’m talking about, You cannot compare an ST or and RS to a standard focus, Totally different cars that just happen to look similar. My ST was a bitch with torque steer and could not get the power down in the wet, but by god it was fast, My friends RS has no torque steer at all, yep I said it, not one bit, foot full to the board round a corner, no torque steer and no wheel spin, not one bit, it stuck to the road, I could not believe it, both the ST and especially the RS are fantastic cars, for what they are. But but but, the 350Z is rear wheel drive and now a days that’s what I care about, I’m not so much into power and speed any more, for me it’s all about getting the tail out, bit of drifting and some doughnuts – that’s where all the fun is, so would I ever buy another front wheel drive car? No matter how much power or good looks it had, hopefully not, I’m sticking with RWDs But if the new RS had of been 4WD well then, I might not be in a 350z now lol And just one other wee thing, my 350Z might also have trouble getting the power down in the wet but at least I can have fun putting it sideways while trying to lol
