Lexx
Hey folks. Well, after 2 1/5 years of fantastic driving, and face ache from the grin , and far too much money in mods, it's time for me to be leaving. I had considered a TT build as you know, but after pricing this up, I was staring at £20k for 450whp, which is more than the car is worth, and is money I just couldn't justify. I have tried to sell my car before, but never managed due to the economic climate, or the fact that it is far from standard. So she is going in as a part exchange. Wondering what Im getting? Well, Im just putting a holding deposit on this: She's a Heron White, 58 plate, VXR8 6.2i (LS3). Already fitted with adjustable coilovers, and Bi-Modal exhaust. Hope to complete the deal in 2 weeks when I get off this flipping boat. I'd just like to say a HUGE thank you to the team for making this the place it is. It is no coincidence that this forum is the most visited site on my browser. And without the admin and moderators, this wouldnt have remained the great community it is. I've been on some amazing meets, and met some great people, and made some firm friends. You dont get rid of me that easy though, I will be loitering with intent for the forseeable future. Take it easy guys and girls.

GT4 Zed
Surely you could have got the TT for less (? £10-12K) as the HR has more stronger internals so just a few things need replacement with forged parts But i can see were you are comming from as i can't justify SC'ing my zed either when its going next year Very good choice on the VXR and the right colour and starting mods make it a bonus. Someone is going to have fun

Paulzx
What's the difference between that VXR and a normal Holden Monaro then? I very nearly bought a monaro but in the end opted for a Zed GT4, having looked into it in some depth it was obvious that apart from the brute horsepower, the overall package of the 350z was better, at least guys that had owned both cars advised me on the monaro forum that was the case (their honesty surprised me). So is the VXR an improvement on the monaro?
350 giZ
Slightly bigger snow beast than before! Best of luck with it.

So is the VXR an improvement on the monaro? The VXR8 is a different car to the Monaro. There was a Monaro VXR produced. But that is a totally different model to this. The VXR8 is based on the Holden Commadore.
