phoenix
http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u296 ... 250595.jpg Does this tyre need changing a.s.a.p?
cookiemonster
how deep is it into the tyre?
Stew
Ever had a blow out? I suspect not or you'd have been at the tyre shop to have it looked at already. I'd sugest doing that for peace of mind.
player2301
probably ok but not worth the risk is it mate for a few pennies !!!
GT4 Zed
Many factors to consider -how deep? -is it a puncture? -how much thread left -what brand? if its a puncture then its unrepairable by law peroid If there is loads of thread eg 6mm and above and its not deeper than 4mm then its fine The brand is only there for further assurance as an ultra high quality tyre will be safer than budget and will influence keeping it if the above is condition is ok. Any doubt then get a new one

Wasso
or selotape it it will be RITE !!! Blu-tac might work too Loads of superglue!! not too much or you'll stick to the road. I'd get a new tyre based on the look of the tyre depth... really isn't worth the risk. I had a rear tyre blow out on a motorway whilst raining. It's not fun trying to keep the car in control. If that's a front tyre, I'd be at the tyre shop now getting a new one fitted!!
