ikarus
Got my wheel today, got to get a security torx bit (T30) first before i can fit it though Quick question to those that have done this. Did you hook up the horn push? is it easy enough to do, if not is it an MOT issue? Also, i found a guide here: http://my350z.com/forum/body-interior-e ... l-diy.html ..which shows 2 airbag resistors being fitted (worksbell), my momo hub only came with one - bit worried now - any suggestions? ikarus
All fitted now, horn works + no air bag light. It turns out that early model zeds have a single loom to the air bag, and thus only need one resistor - whilst later model zeds have two and need two resistors. If you're buying Momo be careful because you only get one resistor in the hub kit, bit late to find out when your steering wheel is off! - fortunately i only needed one . To be fair i called Momo and got all the answers i needed off the first guy i spoke to, good customer service as least. Ian i think you were right with a 350mm wheel, that's what i bought and it feels spot on - oh and you can still see all of the dials, any smaller and you probably wouldn't Few pics fitted.. Need to do a few journeys to see if i need to adjust the reach, but for now i'm very happy

Ian
Looks good As for horn, I'm pretty certain it is an MOT failiure. Mine isn't working at the moment either though
Digsy
Really like that - good job! Which model is it?
ikarus
Really like that - good job! Which model is it? Thanks It's a Tuner 350mm in black - I didn't use the finishing fascia though as i prefer the flat look, although i had to cut the horn button adaptor down a bit though to make it all fit flush. Didn't take much though
Digsy
What do insurance companies say about ditching airbags?
ikarus
What do insurance companies say about ditching airbags? eeeeeerm..... i'll ask them and let you know Joking aside, i have a policy with every mod and every bit of audio covered so as long as i keep them up to date i doubt it will make much impact. Surely if you need your air bag it's already too late for the insurer, plus if you die they probably don't need to pay out
