nixy
My car is due a service. The last one was at 27k a year ago but the guy at Nissan has written M2 in my book which is obviously wrong and applies to a different type of engine. According to the book it should have had a P1. My car has now done 40k (yes i know its late) so I don't know which service it needs now. I'm presuming a P3 which should have been done at 36k. Its a 2003 car. Any ideas guys? ross@japex
On age its due a P1 service but on mileage i would go for a P3.
nixy
ugh, it would be the expensive one - but yeah i agree that's probably best. Insurance MOT and tax are also due at the same bloody time!

nixy
Thats the problem with importing a car. You have to tax mot insure and service all at once when it comes in so EVERYTHING is always due at the same time all at once!
Husky
if its a P3 you need i'll throw you a PM
marzman
Go to Lockwood & Greenwood nix... not that far from you is it? You get a courtesy car and a day shopping in Manchester, all for £220 for a p3.
Maccaman
Should have done a 6 months tax at sometime, just to move it away from the other outlays.
nixy
I already did that! This is the six month one that comes up with everything else!
Rob_Quads
What you go for surely depends on the service history? Has the car had a P3? If not its only 3 years over due so you should def have one done.
nixy
Well i do have a full history.........if anyone can read japanese - its all in a nice book stamped up but god knows what it means. It had a basic service when it came in at Envy 3 years ago, a service the time after by a local garage and then a service at an authorised Nissan specialist last year but I'll need to find the job sheet to see what was done as they've written the wrong thing in the book! I've booked it in for a P3 regardless now.
