Wee neds !!!

I was at the cinema at the showcase about a week ago and just noticed that some wee ned has nicked two of my chrome valve caps from my wheels .Only saw it last night when I was out a wee run as its not the drivers side .They must be a bit thick as nicking two is not going to do them much good !!!

 

Maybe they got caught in the act wee buggers !!!!

they prob only took 2 so they could stick them on their bike.

 

has happened to my mate. whenever i park round his overnight i take my z ones off the car to stop them having them away.

lol i leave mine there alot, but parked in front where everyone can admire it in a disabled bay with my family members disabled badge proudly sitting on the dash

coatbridge one is generally ok i find, plenty of spaces usually but i have seen the usual trampy neds kicking about

I got some 'Z' dust caps from ebay that are made like a nut so you can do them up really tight with a spanner, should stop the scrotes! you just have to make sure you keep a spanner in the car.

the ones you do up with a spanner still come off fairly easily.

 

i'm using the richbrook anti theft ones. the have a rotating collar round them and a special tool to put them on with. if you try and take them off without the key the collar just free spins.

 

anything can be stolen though, just depends how determined the thief is. but these should deter the majority of the opportunists

Yeah I had a halfords own make or some other make like the ones your talking about but didnt like the look of them .

 

I did have the other ones for a year and a half so not to bad !

I steer clear from metal valve caps due to corrosion and a couple of previous valve replacments due to it. My own fault for not checking tyre pressures more often.
