bigmike20vt
so, it maybe that you cant even remember what a standard coupe feels like but... how would you compare the 2 cars for long term comfort and enjoyable driving?
bigmike20vt
well...... I am now officially a member of Zed Club picked up the car this afternoon, then popped round Mitch's for a brew and buscuit before coming home. LOVE the car. minor issue, the rear parking sensors are busted, and as it is not a nissan official one i cant take it there. however Matt (Prestige Performance) came across as a nice chap and has told me to just take it to halfords or the like, get repaired or replaced if cant fix and he will cough up for it. so all in all am happy. was strangly sad driviing away without the coupe...... but that was soon forgotten once the Zed got warmed up Driving wise it feels more responsive than the coupe, the gears are nicer and just feels more like a sports car. The sound is amazing, i must admit would be nice if it was a little faster (maybe would have been better with the 313bhp car but its out of my price bracket) and i do miss the turbo kick a little, but that is a minor grope to what is all in all a great driving experience. Bang for buck i still think the fiat coupe is tough to beat, but after owning one for 7 years the novelty had worn off. great stuff..... rich5259
now you've got it home you need to rememeber that
bigmike20vt
The coupe is gone.... long live the coupe It is nice, no turbo kick but quicker across the range than the coupe. If am honest, would have liked it to be a touch quicker perhaps the 313bhp car would have been better (this is only 276bph) but that was out of my price bracket. Still it sounds like a proper sports car now, 3.5l V6 engine with a nice popping exhaust when you give it a bit of right foot and it is really well planted to the road. am skint now, 10K plus my old fiat but with only 29k on the clock with 12 months service and MOT am hoping for some maintanence free driving. Parking sensors are bust and they are after market so cant go to nissan, but the seller is going to pay to fix or replace them for me. links to some pics here. http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb23 ... busa1300
Nice one mate! I think the zed is just a bit quicker than a stardard coupe but just doesn't feel like it, I like the low down grunt compared to the Fiat.
bigmike20vt
its funny busa, with your coupe being back up for sale again, i *almost* had a wobble and considered that, but after 7 years of coupe ownership it was time for a change.
