Removed
My Z has just broken the 30k miles barrier so I thought I'd write my impressions, alongside with good points and bad points up to now. bad points first: - synchromesh issue (but got a new gearbox under warranty) - squeaky driver seat (fixed under warranty) - both local dealers shut down in the space of 2 years - rear axle clicking (not fixed yet) - RE040 worst tyres ever - interior plastics get scratched easily - modding moneypit! as you can see most of my gripes are relatively minor or fixed under warranty. The good points in my experience are: - turned heads when I got it and has the same effect over 2 years on, going to be a classic imo. - potential for "extreme" modding (at least in my opinion), albeit expensive - makes for a good long term project (or short term if you are loaded ) - the torque in all gears! - the great chassis - the awesome colour I chose that still hasn't bored me after over 2 years! - the diy modding platform it provided for my first experiences at this type of stuff - the people I've managed to meet thanks to the same passion - the grand-touring experience of my european holiday 2005 - cheapish servicing costs All in all the positives most definitely outshine the negatives, and sine I plan to keep her for the long term, I'm not even bothered about the recent hgiher han expected depreciation! Once I'll be able to use the Z as a fun car only, I think it'll be even better! Love my Z

Removed
I would have got a JDM and put the rest of the money towards FI done properly! :teeth: the rest I suspect I would have done more or less the same, focusing on styling mods first then performance definitely bonnet Paintshield for day 0 too
Kennydies
I only have two (very small) gripes with my zed. I think the rev counter and speedometer should swop over so the speedometer is in the center of the dash. I keep leaving the indicator on becuase I dont notice the flashing green light or hear the noise. I know is not much but those are the only 2 things i have noticed. Sarnie
I keep leaving the indicator on becuase I dont notice the flashing green light or hear the noise. This has nearly killed me a few times. On a couple of occasions I have been coming to a junction and people have just pulled out on me cos my indicator is still on but I did'nt realise

H5
The alternative is to do what TVR do - put a loud beeping noise on the indicators!! Dunno which I'd prefer but have done the same with the indicators. You can wire a beeper into the circuit I'm sure......
Sarnie
On my other motors, when you straighten up ,the indicator returns itself to the middle position but not on the zed
