Wakey
Hi everyone, im grant and i joined this forum a while ago because ive always fancied getting a zed, I thought id snoop around on here for a while and pick up a few hints n tips concerning buying and owning one of the best looking cars IMO... However after seeing a zed in a garage near where i work i thouught id go n check it out, it turned out to be an import which didnt really bother me but couldnt believe it when i went to sit in it and i couldn't fit in gutted is an understatement!!! Ive since done some searching on the forums and it looks like im not the only one with problems fitting in!! Anyway thanks for looking
Ian
In what way didn't you fit?
narcotix
Welcome to the forum ... When you say you couldn't fit .. are you extremely tall or something?

martinmac
Hi and welcome to the forum. Never really heard of anyone having a problem when the seats were moved.
Wakey
Wow quick reply's guys yeah I'm quite tall at 6ft5 but not the tallest on here from what I've seen when looking through the searches! I looked like Mr Incredible in that little car ha ha Alot more searching for the right car me thinks
Stew
Did it have leather? The non leather cars have lower seats apparently. 6'5" isn't that tall. My mate is 6'7" and can fit in it!
350ash
I'm about 6ft3 and only just fit. With the seat all the way back and the steering wheel lifted fully up then it's pretty comfortable, although I did have to cut my hair recently as it was starting to catch on the headlining... My brothers around 6ft6 and he's tried sitting it but he doesn't fit, wasn't planning on letting him drive it anyway!
Wakey
That's good too know fella's at least there is some hope I'll find the right car for me, so it looks like it's the non leather seats I need to be looking for? Is there any reason why they are lower?
GT4 Zed
Or you can get some adjustable racing seats and install them on super low rails
nixy
I have heard that the JDM seats are a tighter fit than the uk ones - not sure if that's right or not or if that was the issue but worth checking out.

rich5259
to the forum The cloth seats are lower as they don't have the electric motors and moving mechanism. What about getting a roadster? no headroom issues then
Cragus
+1 low seat rails and some nice recaro seats

bronzee
Welcome to the forum. On my350z over time, there has been an ongoing thread about rather tall people driving Zeds. Have look over there. There should be seat rail options if you have a nose about.
