Ian
Just about to order this http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/pioneer- ... -9720.html I already have a PAC-ROEM left over from when I installed my alpine unit, an aerial adaptor & a double din fascia - Is that all I need or am I missing something? Ian
Depends on the headunit I think, I needed one for my Alpine though You can get them in halfords for about £

rtbiscuit
did you need a steering wheel control cable? or do you not have steering wheel control. the pioneer one is different to the alpine one.
Ian
I never bothered with steering wheel controls at the time & have an aftermarket wheel now so don't have any buttons
yokomo
why are you using the pac rom ? use the pre outs thats what there for ! the pac rom is onyl for really cheap units that dont have any/enough preouts any decent unit will ahve at least front and rear s just plug the unit in. rip your alpine out , swap mounts and facia plug pioneer in . rtbisuit , you wont need an antenna adaptor wiht the jvc as it takes the banana plug type that the z has so your good to go . yokomo
yeah all that does as it as i said is convert the speaker level outputs to line level but you have line outs already so just plug the phono from the new head unit in to the loom jobs done ! only issue is you may/will loose some volume.
