beng
Hi, Im having a dispute at the moment with a recovery firm over the limitations of the space saver spare wheel. The handbook says that 'the spare tyre should be used only for very short periods. Temporary-use spare tyres should NEVER be used for long drives or extended periods.' It also says not to drive faster than 80km/h. Has anyone actually got any more information regarding how short a very short period is (for example 20 miles)? Cheers
Ekona
I'd say one trip from where you are to home, within reason. I'd say 100 mile if you really need to get home, else probably about 40 mile isn't unreasonable.
