Michael robinson
Hello my names michael Robinson , I am from the Newcastle area (north east) and I have just bought a 350z gt 53 (04) , I have already put a performance exhaust on it and am looking at doing more but have a few questions and would be forever greatful if some one could help me as am getting nowhere via the Internet where can I get a twin turbo kit for it ? ( av been told to stay away from eBay ect ) are there any local installers ? what is the best type to get ? What else can or would I have to do to the engine to get it to cope with the turbo kit ? And finally is there a good place to get bodykits/spoilers/front lips locally ? Thanks michael
Lexx
firstly, welcome! secondly, have a look in the Forced Induction area of the forum. lots of info in there, then go to my350z.com for just about anything you want answered has already been asked over there. main thing you need to know - your stock engine can go up to 400bhp, anything more and you will need a built engine (new forged internals) Local installers - not really. Although RSTuning in Leeds may do it. Mines going to Abbey Motorsport nr the M25! Although if you ask nicely, Falcon Performance in boro may give it a shot. Best type - depends. Do some research on here and my350z. lots of reviews. bodykits etc - www.z-store.co.uk is mail order, and in the North East. And Falcon Performance in boro could do spraying and fitting. martinmac
Hi and welcome to the forum. I will stick to what I know. The traders on here can supply any kits yo need at a good price. To answr your next question, Car and Bike magic in Sunderland have done work on a few members cars including mine, they are very good and know the cars. Highly recommended for all fitting of kits and great at paint matching.

GT4 Zed
to the forum. Nice to know one more memeber is contemplating FI. Lots said already wrt this. So do your research, choose the best kit for what you intend to do with the zed (ie track weapon, drag, drift or daily driver), define your budget and compare all the options eg supercharging(SC) alternative Remember that with high FI you also will need to uprated suspension and brakes to get the best out of it and so comes in the costing For me money no object i would go vortech SC with forged engine aiming for 450WHP or similar with TT using the famous APS kit. You can't go wrong with DSA automotive , Abbey or RB motorsports for builds and tuning nissans
rtbiscuit
Ian, lexx, wookie and cookbot are all going FI some already have like zmanalex, nurrish, and i think martin, all using a mix of either SC or turbo. also with a mix of kits. read their build threads or proposed build threads. SC is i think the cheaper option but turbos will get the bigger power gains. good luck with your build and keep us posted as you go.

Michael robinson
Thanks for being so welcoming everyone and thanks for the help I have come to the conclusion that there really is a limitless amount of options for the build and your help is priceless as it is pointing me in the right directions as this will be my first build attempt, am thinking of going down the route of a road legal drift car or road legal racer. Abbey? Thanks again
