Woody
Its that time of year again and Ive been to the usual suspects. i.e. Elephant, Tesco, Aviva etc etc. None come anywhere near my renewal quote of £860 from Admiral. Im 22yrs old, 5years NCB, No points, I'll average around 9,000 mile a year. Is this the best Im going to get? Can anyone recommend a good place to try? Cheers
350zStephen
Admiral were by far the cheapest for me when I was 20. Did they charge you alot for your mods? they were very reluctant with me.
Zugara
would say thats a great price, my nephew is being chaged 3k for a ford fiesta y reg, no mods bog standard, and he has just passed his test at 18 yrs old.
Cragus
I think Bell might be ok for young people
Cheesypuff
I took a policy out with Directline last July, 04 uk GT, I was 26, 6 yrs ncd, no points, 12000 miles and GF as named driver - £380 fully comp. Might be worth a try although they wont insure you if you have any performance upgrades now and there prices seem to fluctuate quite a bit. Edit, sorry just noticed you have a Japspeed exhaust, they class that as performance enhancing so probably no help to ya
narcotix
I think Bell might be ok for young people I just got a quote from Bell last week and they were the cheapest for me ...
Woody
Thanks for the advice. I tried Direct line but they wouldnt quote me online (phoning up is always going to be a big quote ) But by far the best with out a shadow of a doubt is bell. with a cracking price of £684.26 with all my modifications covered Thanks again
evest
Hi mate, I used Admiral for my first year with the Zed, but have now moved to Adrian Flux - they specialise more in performance cars and were able to beat Admiral's quote by nearly £100 - including modification cover! That said, I never had any problems with Admiral - good service. Worth trying Adrian Flux though. Hope this helps
Shuck
I've been through Bell for the past couple of years as they were the cheapest by a long way but will definately be trying Chris Knott when I come to renew. Heard good things about them off other people I know. Have you had a look through the insurance section of this site?

Woody
I would of tried Chris Knott but they dont insure under 25s. But Im more than happy with the bell quote. £200 odd to spend else where
