mattbowey
drove down to nurrish's yesterday, around about a 400 mile round trip (on one tank of fuel too, very impressed) Cheers Nurrish for installin my nav. 3 little problems with the day though. 1. centre console won't clip back into place properly, will have a fiddle with that today 2. electric cubby cover stopped working, hoping its just confused and sorts itself out. 3. well, a pic would explain it better i think fairly sure this shouldn't happen driving up the motorway
rtbiscuit
re your windscreen trim my guess is you've had a new windscreen fitted, and the trim hasn't been put back properly
mattbowey
must have been previous owner, i've only had it a week the trim pushed back into place easy enough like
UNABASHED
same happened on motorway with an older car i owned, just used a bit of silicone sealant and stuck it back in place - never had an issue with it after that
rawbhp
My centre console is a pita. The clips that hold it in place seem pretty useless. It tends to pull away from the dash when I pull on the cubby lid to close it. I'm not sure if there's a way to secure it in place to stop it 'pulling' out so easily? bounty78
I had the same problem with mine..the retainer clip that holds the cubby in place is lax..had to had the clips replaced.
Husky
1. there are screws in the cubby fixing the centre console to the dash to stop this happening, check they are all accounted for.

bounty78
My car happened to be in Lee's Falcon Performance garage that weekend. Lee managed to sort me out with some clips. It had become lax as the cubby hole had been taken apart a few times.
