bhavin85
Hi Guys, I picked myself up a second set of facelift headlights the plan originally was to just paint them black and fit them back into the car but now im wondering if I should do something alittle different.... How hard do you recon it would be to wrap this in the CF Vinyl thats about at the moment? The alternative is to make a set of genuine Carbon Inserts which I might do depending on how much it will cost! Thoughts please
cfoster
Probably fairly easy to do mate but you have the issue with heat from the bulbs shrinking / melting the vinyl.

What cfoster said, the lights get very very hot......... would probably cause issues. Genuine CF would be tho' You cracked open the lights yet bhavin, i've got a set i need to get round to modifying? Easy to do?
Cragus
Pault is your man if your looking for something a little bit special in the light department. If you look in his posts you can see examples of his work - Dreamcustomz
bhavin85
cfoster - very good point I didnt think of that...with the heat the vinyl will look its elastic memeory and just curly up! Dene8 - I am gonna give the guys that make my strut a call and see what they can do...might do a limited batch of 5 if I can get enough interest but I wouldnt expect them to be cheap Craigus - Thanks bud, ive already talked to paul about this but seeing as I already make carbon bits it makes more sense that I make them myself
