With no plans for the day and sitting looking through the forum i took insperation from "Pimm"

 

Again used the thread below, very well explained...Thank you VERY much "AlexZ"!!!

Philips & Straight screw driver

Soldering Iron

Wire strippers (or just snips!)

Insulating tape

 

 

I have missed the pics for removal as there all in Alex's Thread so ive started in my study room! Bose unit removed inclusing surrounding trim

All cover bolts removed and facia removed

Tape deck removed from Bose unit

Wires soldered into place and routed through Bose unit

Bose unit back together and Aux wire routed out back of unit

Maplin Tape deck cleaner with internals removed

Im going to look into buying a cigerette charger for the ipod and cut the wires and solder into the back of the passenger side cigerette lighter but thats for another day!

 

The sound quality seems very good, just like a CD...all for roughly £15!
